Fully armoured rocking horse, detailed out with custom cast buckles and rosettes.
Built of hand hammered mild steel this rocking horse comes fully dressed for battle. The saddle is Mahogany with elk skin padded seat and steel pommel and cantel plates. The chanfron (face) attaches to the crinet (neck armour) via a snell hook. The peytral (front skirt) and crupper (rear skirt) buckle to the saddle. Numerous hand cast pewter rosettes decorate the rivets attaching straps to the armour along with nearly a dozen hand cast pewter buckles to attach the armour and hold it all together. All the armour is removable from the rocking horse via straps and buckles much like originals. The rocking horse has the ears you squeeze and it makes galloping noises, nods its head up and down and swishes its tail. The articulation of the crinet is such that it doesn't not impede this movement.
